NOTE: This is truly worth reading because the majority of these tips you most likely don’t know and they can really help you...Please read the entire article prior to judging it. Thanks....

1. Press alt+tab to scroll through windows

2. Press Ctrl+F or F3 to search the page

3. Alt+F4 closes window

4. Alt+Ctrl+downarrowkey flips screen upside down (annoying when people find screen is upside down)

5. Windows Key+L -Lock the computer

6. Run program as different user without logging off... Right click on document then select Run As... then enter user name password.

7. Windows Key+D- goes to the desktop

8. Windows Key+ Break (top left hand corner of keyboard)- brings up the System Properties dialogue box

9. Press Windows Key, then press L, then press Enter- Log Off

10. First, type in the name of the website without www or .com. EX: youtube Then press Alt+Ctrl+Enter. This will automatically type the www and .com.

11. Customize your Windows Computer

a. Click Start

b. Click control panel on the right hand side

c. Click Display

d. Now on the top, click the Appearance tab

e. Now you can either change the XP style or you can click the down arrow next to Windows XP style and select classic.

f. Now you may change the color scheme and you can also click Advanced and change everything so it looks really cool.

12. Win key+M=minimize all windows                       Cntrl+A=select all           

13. Making a link to a website on your start menu or a link to a file/program

a. Right click on Start Button

b. Click Explore

c. Right click anywhere on the Right side

d. Choose new then click shortcut 

e. Now enter in the website name if you want to link to website or browse and select the file/program that you want to go to.

f. Now name the file anything you want.

g. Now drag the file to the start button and there you go!

h. If you don’t want the file to ever go away then click start, right click on the shortcut and click pin to start menu!

14. Private Character Editor-that’s right! Make your own fonts! Takes a bit getting used to, but soon you will be on your way!

a. Press start then press Run

b. now type eudcedit and it will now open

15. Make shortcut keys to programs! Really useful if you want to open up a program quickly!

a. Go to the program that you want to shortcut.

b. right click on the program and click Properties

c. now see where it says Shortcut key click on the text box there where it says None

d. now press any letter to make it the shortcut key (you still have to press alt+ctrl+the key)

e. now press ALT+Ctrl+the key and then you can go to that program!

14. Have more Icons on your Start Menu!

a. right click on the time and click Properties

b. now look at the top and you shall see a tab labeled Start Menu

d. now you can either change your Current Windows to classic or keep it the same, but in classic you will not be able to change the number

e. now click Customize...

f. now you you have list of options and you shall also see a number where you can change the amount of items on your start menu.(NOTE: this may slow down the start menu if you have a slow computer and you may even want to take icons that you don’t need off the start menu.)

16. Go into Microsoft Word and type this- =rand(200,99)   and press enter     It won’t mess up your computer

17. Get the onscreen keyboard!

a. click Start then Run (Note: you can press windows key+R)

b. then type in osk and then there you go!
