Here I will tell you some of the basics of HTML. First of all, HTML stands for-  HyperText Markup Language. HTML is very predominant in webpages and enables you to create a basic to advanced website.

The following are the tools that you will need to begin:

1) A Computer(I'm guessing you already have one if you are reading this)

2)You will also need a text editor. For Windows use Notepad, but for Macs you can use BBEdit. For notepad- go to Start>>All Programs>>Accesories

3) A place to save your files (hardrive, CD, Floppy Disk, Flash Drive) Also you may want to start a new file to save all of your work in, but you don't have to.

4) A Web Browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
